ABOUT

Dan Higginson is a documentary photographer from the Medway towns of Kent, working across the UK and beyond. Inspired by his working-class roots, his work centres on community, taking an authentically gentle approach to build mutual trust with his subjects.

Currently studying Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at UAL, Dan’s work has been published in The Guardian and The Big Issue and exhibited in London galleries, including Copeland Gallery, The Art House, and the London College of Communication.

A thoughtful and committed artist, Dan is the founding member of The Idle Hands Society, a growing creative community. Alongside long-time collaborator Paul Bence, he co-hosts a podcast exploring the creative process and championing artists across disciplines.
